Going Green at CTCLC!06/01/2011

Learning is going Green at the Career Technology Center of Lackawanna County. Recently the electricity lab purchased Maracraft solar and wind equipment through the Perkins Grant. These training aids will give students the opportunity to have hands-on experience with projects that will look at wind and solar power.

“The U.S. Department of Energy estimates a growth of employment opportunities of at least 30% in the coming year in the green industry. That’s the reason why we wanted to teach green technology at the Career Technology Center. We are preparing them for the future,” stated Electricity instructor Robert Hassaj.

what there saying at ctc of lackawaxen, pa school district

The teachers at CTCLC are great; they really care about the students and they teach us what we need to know by showing us and encouraging us to actually get involved and try. I'd recommend CTCLC to everyone who is interested in any kind of career that involves putting things together and working with your hands.
