Mr. Tom Czachor
Information Systems Technology- Cyber Security Instructor
Thomas Czachor has been the Computer Systems Technology instructor since 1988. A West Scranton High School Graduate and a graduate of the Electronics Technology program at the Lackawanna County Area Vocational Technical School (now the CTC). He received an AAS degree in Electrical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University in 1985. Before beginning his teaching career, Thomas repaired microprocessor control systems used in arcade & entertainment systems.
Thomas instills the skills and attitude he learned while a student at the CTC into his students. A good work ethic, troubleshooting and customer service are all taught while the students are learning the latest computer hardware/software and networking technology. Students are encouraged to obtain industry certifications, such as CompTIA A+, and to continue their education at the post-secondary level.
