Mr. Jonathan L. Coyne
Protective Services Instructor
Mr. Coyne has been the Protective Services instructor since 2010. He is a graduate of Valley View High school and attended the Career Technology Center of Lackawanna County for Electronics. At CTCLC, he serves on the Safety Committee and Rapid Response Team.
Prior to joining the CTCLC Faculty, Mr. Coyne held numerous positions in an array of different workforce fields.
He has been a volunteer firefighter for the town of Jessup, PA since 2003 and has held positions such as Engineer, Assistant Chief, Chief, and Borough Chief. Mr. Coyne has also been a member of the Archbald Community Ambulance since 2009, obtaining his EMT-B and becoming a Lieutenant of the Ambulance service.
"I drive the students to perform and obtain a quality education that I obtained when I was a student here", stated Mr. Coyne.
He has his Fire Fighter 1, Hazmat Operations, ICS 100 200 700 800.
