Mr. Kyle Linko

Supervisor of Career and Technical Education

On June 28th, 2022, the Joint Operating Committee Board appointed Kyle Linko, M.Ed., as the Supervisor of Career and Technical Education of the Career Technology Center of Lackawanna County. Having over ten years of experience in public education, Kyle previously served as the Welding instructor at the CTCLC. He also serves on the PBIS committee, CTC's Comprehensive Planning Committee, assisted with obtaining Middle States accreditation, and various other roles at the school. He was the President of the Teachers Union for the last five years, taught at the postsecondary level for 6.5 years, has hosted educator workshops across the country, and is also a business owner. 

Educational background: Kyle earned a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Wilkes University. He earned a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Forensic Science, with a concentration in Business and Chemistry from King's College. He holds an Administrative K-12 certificate, as well as a Vocational Administrative Director certificate, and he's also a CWE (Certified Welding Educator) and CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) with MT (Magnetic Testing) and PT (Penetrant Testing) endorsements. He is an alumnus of the Scranton School District.
