Ms. Kristen Smith
Math Instructor
A longtime member of the math department at Career Technology Center, Kristen graduated from the University of Scranton in 1990, earning a B.S. in Secondary Education Mathematics. She has been at CTC since September of 1991, teaching all levels of mathematics from Algebra I to Trig/Pre-Calculus. In addition, she taught math as an adjunct faculty member at Lackawanna College for several years and tutored local high school students in high school math and SAT preparation.
Kristen was a team member of the CTC Student Assistance Program which identifies barriers that may have been affecting a student’s academics, attendance, behavior, or health and provides recommendations on early intervention and support services to children identified as having difficulties achieving success in school.
