Mrs. Lisa Bieri
Supervising Coordinator of Special Education
Lisa Bieri was born and raised in Scranton, PA. She graduated from East Stroudsburg University in 1985, receiving a BS in Special Education. Prior to joining the Career Technology Center of Lackawanna County in 2004, Mrs. Bieri worked as a Special Education teacher in the Colonial Northampton Intermediate Unit #20, Pen Argyl School District, Stroudsburg School District, Pocono Mountain School District, and the Scranton School District. Mrs. Bieri taught special needs students at the elementary and secondary levels. Mrs. Bieri also worked as a reading tutor for the Sylvan Learning Center and a private tutor.
At the CTC of Lackawanna County, Mrs. Bieri is the Supervising Coordinator of Special Education. She assists in the implementation, delivery, and monitoring of school-oriented services as they pertain to students of special populations and the maintenance of activities and programs which comply with state and federal guidelines and regulations.
