The Practical Nursing Program is a 52 week course of study extended over 15 months, on a 5 day per week basis (Monday-Friday). Approximately 50 percent of the time is spent in the classroom and 50 percent of the time is spent in clinical experience. Supervised, concurrent and sequential clinical experiences are provided at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Mountain View Care Center, Wayne Memorial Hospital, Allied Services, Headstart Centers and Avenanna Daycare for Medically Fragile Children. Students are under the supervision and guidance of the Career Technology Center Practical Nursing Program.
