Mr. Patrick McLane
Illustration and Design
Mr. McLane comes to CTCLC with over 25 years of experience in graphic design, art direction, illustration, marketing, and multimedia design. The majority of his graphic experience has been in the greeting card and advertising industry, where he has worked in every phase of production, from the initial concept to the final printed product.
Prior to coming to CTC, Mr. McLane taught visual art, digital media, and web design at the high school level. Mr. McLane is also an adjunct professor at Marywood University, teaching various courses in graphic design and illustration programs. The combination of his professional and academic experience is a perfect fit for the Creative Communications curriculum at CTCLC.
Mr. McLane is also a working artist and illustrator. His illustrations have been exhibited up and down the east coast, as well as in various consumer products and marketing campaigns.
Educational Background: Mr. McLane holds a Master’s Degree in Instructional Technology with a specialization in Instructional Design, a Bachelor of Fine Art in Illustration and Design, a post-baccalaureate degree in Art Education, and is currently completing a thesis for a Master’s of Fine Art in Illustration.
