Ms. Alexandra Zero
Community Outreach Coordinator
As the Career Resource Coordinator at the Career Technology Center of Lackawanna County (CTCLC), Alexandra Zero is dedicated to helping students succeed in their studies and in their careers. She actively meets with students from all over Lackawanna County and aids them throughout the application process, serving as a valuable resource for students and families looking to learn more about the CTCLC and its technical programs. Ms. Zero is known for her ability to connect with students and help them navigate the often-complex process of choosing a career path.
In addition to her work with students, Ms. Zero is also the public face of the CTCLC, working to spread the word about all of the accomplishments and successes of the school. She is skilled at crafting engaging and informative messages about the CTCLC's programs and works to promote the school's offerings to the broader community.
Before joining the CTCLC, Ms. Zero worked as a Recruitment Advisor for Johnson College, where she was instrumental in implementing recruitment initiatives and on-campus activities and helped manage the college's social media. She was also a valued member of the Diversity and Inclusion committee, working to create a more inclusive campus community.
Ms. Zero is a native of Northeast Pennsylvania and a North Pocono High School graduate. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies with concentrations in Public Relations and Rhetoric from Wilkes University. She is passionate about Career and Technical Education (CTE) and encourages more Lackawanna County students to experience hands-on trade skills before they graduate high school. She believes that CTE is a valuable pathway to success and is committed to helping more students discover the benefits of these programs during their high school years.
