• Cooperative Education

     
       A Tech Prep program meets all of the technical requirements at CTC and the sending school provides all of the academic requirements.  The cooperative education program allows outstanding students to explore actual work experience in their selected field.  This is a one-year opportunity for Seniors who have been recommended by their career and technical education instructor and their sending school.  The work experience is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of the actual employment setting and apply the techniques, skills, and academics gained throughout their educational experience.
     
     
    Advanced Standing
     
       Students entering approved tech prep programs are offered the option of continuing their education at a post-secondary institution with advanced standing and direct admission.  students are able to earn advanced standing in two and four-year degree or certificate programs.  each program has technical and academic courses that the student must complete in order to receive this benefit.
