Administrative Director’s Message

For the 2016-2017 school year, CTCLC will be continuing to improve the knowledge and skills of our dedicated staff and developing a significant number of new staff, while demonstrating to our students the importance of life-long learning and continuous improvement.
We will be focusing on further developing and promoting our new career cluster concept and promoting the Creative Communications Technology Cluster programs (1. Commercial and Advertising Design, 2. Graphic Communications Printing and Production, 3. Digital Graphics Design and Publication) and Information Technology Cluster programs (1. Computer Forensics and Cyber Security and 2. Advanced Networking). We will be exploring career clusters for automotive and mechanical technology (collision repair, automotive repair, diesel repair and general mechanics) and for building construction technologies (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, masonry and building mechanics trades).
We welcome the addition of a new section of Health Occupations Technology as well as a new section of the Information Technology Cluster.  We are enhancing existing creative programs by reconfiguring Visual Art and Design to become Commercial and Advertising Design and by reconfiguring Graphic Communications to become Graphic Communications Printing and Production and ramping up for a third section for 2017-2018 school year which will include Digital Graphics Design and Publication.
Finally, we will focus much energy on developing and implementing a continuous program improvement model during the 2016-2017 school year. Our Administration and faculty will be working jointly during the start of the school year to identify performance indicators, measures and targets for improvement.
I sincerely hope that all of our students have a productive year filled with learning and doing experiences. I also hope that prospective students and their parents or guardians will navigate through our website to see how much we have to offer and contact us about attending CTCLC.
