PA Department of Education CIP Code

Overview: Childcare workers care for and nurture children of all ages in a variety of settings. Students in this course learn how to play an important role in a child’s development by attending to a child’s basic needs, organizing activities, and assisting in the development of their emotional, intellectual and social well-being. The physical environment, the ability to work well with all types of children, learning about adaptability, and patience are a few things you will study when you become part of the Child Care and Development program.
