Mrs. Arielle Connor
Service Occupations
Arielle Connor is a graduate of Lakeland High School. In 2011, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from East Stroudsburg University and obtained a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education and Health & Physical Education. She is also certified in Family & Consumer Science and Safety/Driver Education.
Prior to accepting the position with CTCLC, Mrs. Connor gained numerous professional experiences. After graduating from ESU, she substituted, including a short-term substitute position, for three years in the Lakeland, Mid Valley, Abington Heights, Valley View, Lackawanna Trail, and Dunmore school districts. She was also employed full-time as grades 7-12 Health and Physical Education teacher at Pocono Mountain Charter School before its closing. At PMCS, she assumed the duties of Yearbook Publisher and Monthly Newsletter Coordinator. In addition, she taught Physical Education at Carbondale Area for three years during the Summer School Enrichment Program. Mrs. Connor has also been the Varsity girl’s basketball videographer and a part of the softball coaching staff for four years at Lakeland High School. In 2012, she was inducted into the Lakeland Jr. Sr. High School Hall of Fame for softball and trained many softball pitchers to develop the correct form and techniques to be successful in the game.
Mrs. Connor is passionate about her role as the Service Occupations Instructor, and she is dedicated to developing the program into various pathways that the students can explore to gain employment. She is looking forward to a bright future for all of her students.
