Mrs. Michele Boland
Michele Boland received a BSN from the University of Delaware in 1990 and a MSN from the University of Phoenix in 2010. Mrs. Boland began her career at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where she worked for many years and held various positions, including charge nurse for the Medical Intensive Care Unit, Patient Care Coordinator, and Night Shift Nursing Supervisor. Mrs. Boland also worked as a Home Care and Hospice visiting nurse with Taylor Hospital in Chester, Pennsylvania and with Riddle Memorial Hospital in Media, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Boland entered into the academic setting in 2004 as a Clinical and Simulation Laboratory Instructor at the Delaware County Technical School Practical Nursing program.
After relocating to the Scranton area, Mrs. Boland began her career at CTCLC, initially as a Clinical and Simulation Laboratory Instructor. Mrs. Boland is currently employed as a full time faculty member educating students both in the classroom and the clinical setting with a focus on Life Science and the Cardiovascular System. Of the many diverse positions that Mrs. Boland has held within the nursing profession, educating nursing students has enlightened her life; she has found her niche at CTCLC.
