May Student of the Month

 

Zoey Kermidas, a senior from Scranton High School, has be nominated May Student of the Month by her Protective Services Instructor, Jonathon Coyne. “Zoey is a phenomenal student.  She is a great leader of the Protective Services program and is always willing to work with other students in the program. Zoey shows great communication skills and ability to talk with all students throughout the program and the facility. She can problem solve and figure out how to explain and demonstrate material to other students while maintaining her own grades. She is always completing her assignments on time or prior to the due date”, stated Mr. Coyne.

 

Zoey is currently enrolled in the RNEMT through the Pennsylvania Ambulance Co-Op program with the CTC. She plans on obtaining her RNEMT, continue on to the military and become a Combat Medic. Zoey was also recently inducted into the National Technical Honor Society.

 

Outside of school, Zoey is a Lifeguard at the Jewish Community Center. She also enjoys quadding, cliff jumping, swimming, softball, fishing and snowboarding.
