Cory Miller, a senior from Scranton High School, has been nominated March Student of the Month by his Culinary Instructor, Chef Steve Anania. ”Cory is a team player, a hard worker, and a conscientious student, who is concerned not only for his own success but that of his fellow classmates. He participates in all in and out of school events. These include numerous community services efforts that Culinary takes part in for the local community”, stated Chef Anania.
Cory is a well-known face at CTCLC. When he is not volunteering with Culinary service projects, he is a Peer Advisor, assists with 5th Grade Career Exploration days, was the 2019 Junior class officer and a CTCLC Culinary lab assistant. He holds a 92 average in his Culinary class. Cory was recently inducted into the National Technical Honor Society.
At Scranton High School, Cory is a member of the Marching band. He also holds a Black Belt in Karate.
Cory currently works in the foodservice industry and plans on attending culinary school after graduation.
