CTC Saturday Morning Animation Camp 2023

The Career Technology Center of Lackawanna County will be hosting a Saturday Morning Animation Camp. Students in grades 7 or 8 in the 2022/2023 school year are eligible to attend. Campers will be able to complete two different projects with two different instructors. The first project in digital communications design will be working with stop motion animation photography. Participants will create a cereal brand and create a stop motion animation commercial to market their brand using cereal and a stop motion action figure. The second project in commercial and advertising art will be creating digital animations through Adobe software based on the student illustrations.

This program will focus on the Arts, A/V Technology and Communications career cluster, specifically, animation and photography. Students can use this information as a gateway to interesting careers such as multimedia artists and animators, commercial and industrial designers, film, and video editors as well as several other arts and communications jobs.

The camp will be held from 8:30AM to 12:00PM on the following dates:

April 15, 2023
April 22, 2023
April 29, 2023

A flyer is enclosed/attached along with the application/registration form. Feel free to copy them as you need them. A $25 deposit is required to hold your spot. Deposits will be returned once participation is complete.
