Mr. Kyle Linko

Supervisor of Career and Technical Education

On June 28, 2022, the Joint Operating Committee Board appointed Kyle Linko, M.Ed., as the Supervisor of Career & Technical Education at the Career Technology Center of Lackawanna County (CTCLC). A graduate of CTCLC, Kyle brings over a decade of experience in public education, along with a deep passion for career and technical training.

Before stepping into administration, Kyle served as CTCLC's Welding Instructor, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the program and mentoring students. His dedication to education extends beyond the classroom. He has been actively involved in the PBIS Committee, the Comprehensive Planning Committee, and the Middle States accreditation process. Additionally, he has taken on various leadership roles at the school, including serving as President of the Teachers' Union for five years.

Kyle's expertise goes beyond secondary education. He has over six years of experience teaching at the postsecondary level, has led educator workshops nationwide, and is also a business owner.

 

Educational Background & Certifications 

Kyle holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Wilkes University and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice & Forensic Science with a concentration in Business and Chemistry from King's College.

His credentials include:

  • Administrative K-12 Certificate
  • Vocational Administrative Director Certificate
  • Certified Welding Educator (CWE)
  • Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) with Magnetic Testing (MT) and Penetrant Testing (PT) endorsements
